Rockbird

For 20 years SW.RENT has been offering a comprehensive rental service for material handling machines and has built up a large fleet of excavators, wheel loaders and dumpers. Due to the merger with Log Up TRent and the reorientation towards digital fleet management, a new name was sought.

Namestorm was charged to develop a company and brand name that stands for something completely new but also builds on years of experience. The name Rockbird conveys this message by combining two terms that at first glance seem to have nothing to do with each other and which, when combined, convey the right message: "Rock" stands for reliability and expertise - like a rock in the surf - and "Bird" for the ease with which fleet management will be organized in the future. The unusual name ensures a brand with a unique position in the industry.
